There goes lunch

Apocalypses tend to get a bad rep, being “The End of all Civilization” and all. Perhaps this is undeserved, surely there is an upside to the final act (not counting the epilogue and the following civilizations) as well.

There goes lunch

This is comic number thirteen, which might not be coincidence. (Those who seek will find)

I really like apocalypse stories. Most of those narratives are about zombies or similarly transformed humanoids who hunt a small group of survivors.  That speaks to me.

I like zombie stories both in the raw format like “the walking dead” (comic book, game or series) or “28 [insert time period] later” as in softer versions. The last use humor to mollify the experience. One show which I think does this well is Zomblogalypse. It combines dry British humor with the horrors of the post-apocalyptic. Even though you can watch this series for free online, it remains unknown to most. If you have similar tastes, I recommend you give it a try.

This saturday at the FACTS convention in Ghent, for the first time ever, we will be handing out flyers. If you want your copy, head on over. Perhaps next year we can attend as guests. :-)
